Hmm. Since it's Chinese New Year, I now have the luxurious free time to slack. Erm, I mean to update my blog =P Haha. I shall take my time to add substancial content to my blog while you guys out there are busy celebrating it =)
Yesterday was a short day. Only 2 1/2 hrs of school =s Would have been a complete waste of time to go school if not for a few events that make it worthwhile =)
First up was mass dance. Dunno how many time I've said this but mass dance in the earlt morning is a complete turn-off for me =sThus, as usual, I was unenthu during the dances. On the contrary, Wanxian was as hyper as usual. Feel so bad. Shld have make her dance with another guy =(
Then after mass dance, came the main celebration, put up by the various dance and musical clubs from JJ. First up was Chinese Orchestra. They were a little bit dull when compared with Swiss CO but nevertheless entertaining. Next up was the band. To me, they slighly redeem themselves after the 'fiasco' during CCA open house. Haha. Not only me said that they were terrible at that time. Everyone I ask also said the same thing =s The second song in particular is pretty unique. A compilation of diff songs. However, there is some thing wrong with that piece. It doesnt have the 'X' factor. Haha. Guess I'm demanding too much but that's to be expected after listening to an excellent band for 4 yrs in my sec sch life =P
Not going to say much about the dances, except that Serena sure look like a goddess. Wasnt able to recognise her from far. Took me quite awhile to know that it was her =s But yeah, she's an all-rounded dancer. Good at mass dance, modern dance and I presume gd at club dance too...
The malay dance was hilarious. Haha. Anything that got to do with Halim is simply hilarious. Didnt know a dance can be that funny O_o
Well, that's for the celebration. Gave Ms Toh some oranges in exchange for a minimal class fund =s Then went to do something with my fellow Og 19 Ogls =X Didnt do much since I sux at decoration work. Mostly it was just Wanxian doing the work while the guys provide eye power =s
Then after Friday prayers ended, went to Hwa Chong to play soccer for a while. Not many people there though it was a Friday. Guess everyone went back home to get ready for CNY.
So that's how I celebrate my pre-CNY holiday. A day full of activity but one which I had failed to fully apreciate it =(
