Hmm.Ogl application is sure out fast this year. Last year, we had to wait till late february to apply for it and although I was one of the first to take the form, I became one of the last to hand it in =s
Becoming an ogl isnt an easy decision to make. It requires commitment. Also, for the first 3 mths intake, it requires loyalty to the college. That means even if you receive 7-9 pts for your 'o', you're expected to stay in JJ to serve the college, simply bcos you've made a promise to become a student leader of the college.
Backtrack to one year ago...
I was confused. Beleaguered on my final decision on whether to stay in JJ or not. I ask my friends for their opinions. Shld I or shld I not ? Since my Og were not close despite the efforts of our Ogls, I could not consult them. Finally, right on the dot, 5pm that Thursday, I handed in my form.
To the present...
As we all know, I took the interview and got accepted as an Ogl. And I've never look back since. Being an Ogl has been the best thing that had ever happen to me in my JC life. It has open doors dor me that would that have ben possible I was not an Ogl. Helping out during the 'A' lvl result ceremony, pre-u seminar, the formation of SU during the council's investiture and the latest events to add in my collection; grad nite and Orientation 2006. It's been a hectic but fun year in JJ, simply bcos I've my Ogl status to bank on whenver I need to destress. Love being an Ogl and will always be one in my heart =P. Also, not forgetting the tons of good friends that I've came to know thru being an Ogl =))
