Woot. Went for a mini-Og19 outing yesterday. Had no choice actually since I promised everyone that I will go if Wanxian went for the outing. Haha. Was expecting her to say 'NO' but alas, she did sth unexpected and said 'Yes' instead when Bernard ask her to go for the outing =s
So off we went to Fuji Palace. It was my first time going for an Ice-skating session so naturally I was a tad nervous. Heck, I've never even roller-blade before. Anyway, the admission fee is pretty cheap. $8.40 for an all day long ticket. Almost the same price for a 2 1/2hrs movie. The balancing part was easy enough, at least when I'm not on the ice. When I'm on the ice, it was an entirely different matter =s But I learnt fast though. Within 10min, I'm able to 'walk' on ice without needing anyone's help, hugely thnkz to my great sense of balance =P In an hour, I was able to glide smoothly. Told you I'm a fast learner =P The fastest way to learn how to ice skating is to keep falling down and feel pain. Only then will your body react quickly and adapt to the change of centre of gravity when you're about to fall =P Within 2 hrs since I first started learning, I cease to fall down.
Then, in the evening, I,Bernard and Kelvin conduct an 'intensive' ice-skating course for Jmin, who still haven learn how to skate despite it being her second time skating =s Slow lar =P Haha. But at least by the time we went home, she was able to 'walk' on ice by herself, signifying that the 'course' was not a total failure =)) As for me, the next time I went to ice-skate, I'll tring out speed skating. Didnt have time to test out my theory perfectly yesterday =s
Then after that went to the lib to do my Gp. Ended up reading books =s Haha. I could never study in the library when there're tons of books to distract me =P...ciao
