Play streetsoccer in the morning since it's a public holiday =) Wa terribly offform. Miss tens of straight cut chances =s Think my eyesight is getting worse. I cant see clearly when I play sports without specs. For this reason, I've stop playing squash and badminton. Cant really see the projectiles flying around, especially at high speed. Wearing contacts is out of the qn. Anyway, so went to play soccer with some of the other guys. Despite me playing poorly, we still won the finale match =)
Then, we went to Zul's house. He had to persuade his mother for quite some time before his mother finally allow us to visit his hse =s There, we watch some awesome Joga Bonito videos. In case you dont know what Joga is, it's a streetsoccer game where amazing moves are constantly play out. It's like teams keep exchanging tricks to outplay the opponent. We also had our lunch before going to JE to have our class outing.
A record 12 ppl turn up. That's half a class. Lol. Tt's pretty amazing since we are only going to Town to eat and catch a movie. And it was only planned 2 days beforehand. The rest of the class had some other things going on like trainings and so on. Only a couple had no valid reason. Thus, all the people who shld be here ARE here =P
We headed of to town, chatting all the way there. When we reach there, we headed straight to Cineleisure. Alas, since today's a public holiday, there were alot of movie-goers. We were unable to catch a gd early movie since all the seats were taken o_O While deciding on what to do, we decided to have our lunch. Even this became a problem, since my class is a multi-religious class, food choices became limited if we want to eat together as a class. The guys suggested that we ate seperately, meeting together again after we ate but the girls refutely reject the idea. Sigh. Here we are, offering them a gd chance to go and eat gd food while the muslim ppl eat fastfood and reject it outright o_O Such nice ppl =)) In the end, we came across an Indonesian stall and all of us were happy to patronise it =P Though the food wasnt really nice, we had a nice time eating and chatting for an hr or so. And eating in the Indonesian restaurant reminds me of Manado. Miss it soo much.
After lunch, we decided to go Clementi and watch our movie there bcos it's cheaper and the air-con there is finally fixed =P So we headed back to my former hometown. The place where I grew up and spent months exploring it =)) On the way there, I practised my pick-pocketing skills. Managed to 'steal' 2 handphones. And best of all, none of them suspected me =P Girls' belongings are soo easy to take. They place their belongings inside their bags instead of pockets and are not alert enough to take care of it. I actually unzip Lynn's bag WHILE she was clutching it and took out her handphone. She only realises that it was missing when she wanted to sms someone. If I was a real pick-pocket, I would have been miles away before she even realise what had happen =s But since I'm such a nice guy, I gave her back her hp...after she was stressed out a little bit =P
We went to watch Ice Age 2, abandoning our pre-plan idea to watch a horror movie. It's a pretty nice movie. Love the sabre though I think it's too cowardly and lack of action =s $7 for a public holiday movie with the aircon on full blast. And the theater werent even 1/10 full o_O Haha. And there's an arcade nearby which charge only 50cents for every game =P We finally went home at 10pm.
An outing that could be disastrous but turn out completely okae =)) There were so many chances for us to be seperated bcos of differences such as what to do when the seats were fully book. But in the end, we stick together by compromising to each other need =P...ciao
