Hmm. Went to talentime. Was suppose to meet my class for early dinner in the evening but decided to give it a miss since I wanted to reformat my com. Instead, I met them after they finish eating and we went NTU together although our CT had to stay in JP to wait for her boyfriend. We didnt really know where to stop when we reach there. Thankfully, Charlie and Trang were on the same bus and we decided to follow them instead of the crowd. As a result, the whole bus alight two bustop earlier than they shld except us =P Haha. Both of them were Slos so they shld know know where's the auditorium is held =) Although we reach there at 6.30 sharp, the audi wasnt even 1/4 full o_O Singaporeans are really an expert at being late =s
The main event itself was predictable. The results were based solely on the number of sms contestant receive. All whom I voted on won =P Farhana was lucky to win though. Based on talent, Han Ning was clearly better. Guess Farhana was more popular =P And the champion's league winner is superb. Although the rest of the candidate was gd, the winner of this category was exceptional. Her voice sounded just like the original singer o_O Mandarin Solo category was also obvious. The surprise came in the form of the last placing. Expected the guy to get 2nd yet he got last =s And lastly, the dance group. Haha. Also expected Mutton Balls to win since they did really well during the semis. The No Vowels improve tremendously in terms of their coordination. Alas, they did not have anything special to overcome Mutton Balls. They deserve 2nd though =)
After the talentime ended, I didnt really want to go home since it's still early. Was hoping to get someone to watch Da Vinci Code midnight with me but to no avail. So decided to take my time going home. Walk v.slowly to the bus-stop. Could have taken a taxi with Carmen and Helen but decided not to. In the end, only me and Faizal were left to take a bus as the others chose to take a cab. Took 242 to JP. Bought Mac and took 157 home. Shld have taken 187 since someone was on it as well but decided to take the first bus to leave =X Met Shiyun on the bus. She was gg back to sch since her parents was picking her up there. Although 157 leave the interchange first and had lesser passengers on board, it was 187 that reach my hse bustop first. Darn. Shld have taken 187. Could have kill two birds with one stone =s...ciao
