Never knew organising a movie outing could be so hard. Wanted to watch 300 since the trailer looks gd so tried to invite some other ppl to watch it with me. Firstly tried organising a sec sch class outing but the girls were working and the guys are mostly in NS. Then tried asking Wy & Marz but WY got confinement and got to book in the same day he booked out =/ So that's out too. After that, Nabil called and ask if I wanted to watch the movie with him, Qam and Farid. Only prob was, Qam & Farid wasnt sure if they wanted to go watch the movie or not =/ Finally, I went back to my old sec sch clique. Me, Gay & Fish finally meet up at 945pm yesterday to watch the movie =D
The revamped JEC cinema looks better now compared to 4 yrs ago. Then, it was so run down and the show quality was bad. It's much better now. I like the 'rocking' chair. Lol. And the popcorn are much more cheaper than GVs'. 300 is nice. Lots of inspiring speeches but too bad it isnt accurate. Wasnt expecting it to be rated M18 but with heads chopped off, backstabbing incidents, slaughtering of men & naked women, I can see why it is given this rating. Come to think of it, this is my first m18 movie that I've watch =/ I prefer a PG rating movie like LOTR, Spiderman anytime ^^...
After the movie ended, Gay went home while Fish & I roam around the neighbourhood. We were going to watch the FA cup match at Mac but the match only start in another 2 hr. So to kill the time, Fish went about collecting brochures from various banks and comparing each bank credit cards' while I went to take a nap. The match ended in a draw which mean another tiring match coming up for ManU =/After the match ended it was 4am, so obviously there wasnt any bus so we decided to walk home since it was only one MRT stop away. On the way back, we saw a construction "roller", the one used to flatten the tar on the road. And the best thing is that the keys were there too^^ So being boys, we decided to 'testdrive' the roller XD Haha. We tested the brakes, the engine, the lights but we couldnt find the throttle =/ So too bad, we couldnt drive the roller... and leave it in the middle of the road and cause a massive traffic jam in the morning=/ We also tried finding a 'Kobelo' crane with keys in it but to no avail...too bad...it would be fun digging in the middle of the nite and wake everyone up =x...ciao
