(MORE DETAILS:) Olympic Dream 2007 (OD07) is the second instalment of SVC’s tribute to youth volunteerism and support for disability sports in Singapore. The Olympic Dream 2007 Ability Challenge is about circumnavigation of the globe without leaving Singapore. SVC will rally the masses to participate in Singapore’s first ever Ability Challenge to circumnavigate the globe, with the help of people from the community who will commute by walking, running and with walking aids, wheelchairs and on any form of non-motorised ‘wheeled’ apparatus (roller skates, rollerblades, skateboards, bicycles etc…) - around the running and training tracks of ToaPayoh stadium. The Challenge is about completing 100,000 laps of 400m which adds up to 40,000km – a complete circumnavigation of the world. The Olympic Dream Organising Committee hopes to engage enlightened individuals and organisations to be part of this meaningful event, in advocating the involvement of the community, workforce and student population in this project. --------------------
